Established in 2006, the Software Systems Laboratory provides the necessary infrastructure to support regular lab sessions and project work for the BTech program. The lab facilitates a variety of courses, including Data Structures, DBMS, Networks, Compilers, Operating Systems, Hardware, and Programming Languages. It is well-equipped with cutting-edge servers, desktops, and a range of software, including Linux (Debian), as well as compilers for languages such as C, C++, Perl, TCL, PHP, Java, and Python.

The lab houses nine servers, seventy-five desktops, two wireless access points, and a printer, offering state-of-the-art computing resources with both wired and wireless internet connectivity. SSL is equipped with a robust Apache server configured for efficient data storage, ensuring reliable access to essential files and resources during lab sessions. Additionally, we utilize a Cluster SSH feature that enables seamless remote access to all machines within the lab.
