Sreekrishnan Venkateswaran, our Alumnus, Becomes IBM Distinguished Engineer

 Sreekrishnan Venkateswaran has been appointed IBM Distinguished Engineer in recognition of his deep technical expertise in cloud computing. IBM awards the title of Distinguished Engineer (DE) to top IBM experts with a proven record for outstanding technical contributions that have global impact. DE is one of the company's two highest technical honors.

Sreekrishnan is the practice leader of Hybrid Cloud Systems in IBM's Cloud Center of Excellence, a global team that engages with hundreds of clients every year. Krishnan is also a recognized expert on Linux and has authored a book on embedded Linux that is used at universities across the world.

Sreekrishnan completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Calicut in 1993, and did his M.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

He has authored a book on embedded Linux that is used at universities across the world.
