Viterbi-India Program Award from University of Southern California to Mr. Ayush Jaiswal

Mr. Aysh Jaiswal ( sixth semester B.Tech CSE student) has been  selected for research internship at the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California for a period of 8 weeks (during our summer vacation) through the Viterbi-India 2013 Program. 3rd Lecture of MNN Lecture Series : Open Virtualization and Cloud

The 3rd lecture of MNN Memorial Lecture Series will be given by Supriya Kanneri, Advisory Software Engineer, IBM on the topic "Open Virtualization and the Cloud". The event is organised by the NITC ACM Students chapter and Computer Science and Engineering department.

Coding Competition

A Programming Competition was conducted by NIT Calicut ACM Student Chapter on 3rd January, 2013, at 9:30 AM at Software Systems Laboratory. The competition was online using SPOJ. This was organized in association with the prelims (XCEED ’13) of the programming competition of CoE, Guindy’s technical festival.
There were 14 teams, consisting of 2 students each, for the competition. They were allowed to choose any programming language of their choice. There were a total of 5 questions, where the team consisting of Tijo Jose and Nimish Joseph (MTech CSE 2011-13) won the First Prize (Rs. 5000/-). Ayush Jaiswal and Anunay Bhargava (BTech CSE 2014) won the Second Prize (Rs. 3000/-) and Rahul P and Jerrin Shaji George (BTech CSE 2013) won the Third Prize (Rs. 2000/-). The team which came first is allowed to attend the finals of the coding competition directly (without pursuing spot prelims at CoE, Guindy). T-shirts of the event were also distributed.
